GKMP Architects is a Dublin-based practice that designs high quality modern architecture. Our work is principally concerned with the design of domestic space, both individual houses and housing projects. We have completed a series of one-off houses and extensions and have also completed public space projects in historic locations – the Parade, Kilkenny (2009) and the Waterford Viking Triangle (2014).
Our work has received a significant number of architectural awards and has been exhibited and published internationally. We were nominated for the Iakov Chernikhov International Prize 2014. In 2015 we were invited to participate in ‘New Horizon-Architecture from Ireland’ and made an exhibition for the Chicago Architecture Biennial and our work was exhibited as part of ‘Nine Lives’ at the London Festival of Architecture and the Kilkenny Arts Festival.

Sustainability Focus
GKMP Architects—an award-winning Dublin practice—champions sustainability through passive climate design, material economy, and the adaptive reuse of existing buildings. Their philosophy treats built form as a "constructed landscape", avoiding complex technology in favour of natural ventilation, thermal mass, and spatial efficiency.
