O'Briain Beary Architects were established in 2001. The practice is led by Michael Beary and Esmonde O'Briain. It has an established track record in the healthcare, public sector, residential and commercial fields with current workload including new hospital and primary care buildings, laboratory and clinic fit-outs, large scale social housing, and educational projects.

The practice has a record of the competition winning and award-winning projects, the Westport Civic Offices International Competition, Leixlip Garda Station, Capel Street LOTS Apartments and the Dept. of Psychiatry at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. The practice is structured around a consistent core of motivated and capable project architects, directed and supported at all stages by the two directors and two associates.
