Archers entered the construction industry in 1910 when Edward Archer founded a small local business in Greystones. He is responsible for many houses and public buildings around the area including the Carnegie Library in Enniskerry and the Ormonde Cinema in Greystones. The business has carried on through the years, earning the loyalty and respect of the local community.

In response to the growing number of housing developments in the area, Edward’s grandson Derek established his own glazing business in 1978. Now, more than a century later, the Archer Family remain committed to providing their customers with quality products and a friendly and personal service.
