We collect information you give us directly: your name and email when you use a listing's enquiry form; your email and password when you register to claim or add a business listing; and your business details (name, address, phone, description, photos) if you claim, add, or subscribe to Enhanced for a listing.

If you subscribe to an Enhanced listing, payment is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details. We do keep a record of your Stripe customer and subscription IDs and renewal date so we can manage your subscription.

We use this information to run the directory: to respond to enquiries, manage listings and accounts, process Enhanced subscriptions, and send service emails (e.g. a confirmation, a renewal reminder, or a reply to your enquiry). We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We use Matomo, a self-hosted, privacy-focused analytics tool, to understand how visitors use the site. Matomo is configured with cookies disabled on this site — it does not set any tracking cookie or follow you across other websites.

Cloudflare, our content delivery and security provider, may set a small number of cookies strictly needed for security and performance (e.g. distinguishing legitimate visitors from bots). WordPress itself sets a session cookie when you log in.

Stripe processes Enhanced subscription payments and handles your payment details directly under its own privacy policy. Matomo Analytics (self-hosted by CWA Europe) processes anonymous visit statistics. Cloudflare provides content delivery and security. We do not share your personal information with anyone else except where required by law.

We keep account and listing information for as long as your account or listing is active, and enquiry messages for as long as needed to handle them. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see "Your rights" below).

Under UK/EU data protection law, you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected].

This directory is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to the site or the law. We will update the date below whenever we do.
