Aspen is headed by Réamaí Mathers.  Réamaí has over thirty years’ experience working in the environmental field, he has more than 15  years management experience in community planning and education sectors.  Réamaí has a BSc (Hons) degree in Environmental Science from The University of Ulster and graduated with a PhD from Queens University Belfast.  

Aspen Consultancy specialises in ecological processes, community development, education and business planning. We deliver high quality environmental impact studies, habitat assessment and remediation plans.  This includes delivery strategies, feasibility studies, advice and training in the areas of biodiversity, agriculture, tourism, cultural heritage, sociolinguistics and more. Our holistic approach allows not only in-depth studies within specific areas, but also, when relevant, the principle of interconnectedness and multiple benefits across a range of disciplines. Our mission is to combine innovative ideas and realistic solutions, with the principles of sustainability.
