Formed in 2020, Bell Structural Engineering Ltd continues to grow steadily in strength and depth year by year.   We provide structural designs for small to medium sized developments and work with Architects, Building Contractors and Property Developers to provide sustainable and pragmatic structural engineering solutions. Example projects we have provided structural design input to include:  

Single storey and full-height building extensions  Internal alterations that require removal of loadbearing structures  Refurbishment of commercial properties for conversion to Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO) 

Assessment of existing floors and roof structures for change of use  Bell Structural Engineering Ltd have experience in working with traditional construction materials (steel, timber, masonry and reinforced concrete) on a variety of projects as well as design experience in using aluminium and GRP composite structures. Our knowledge and design experience of using these material enables us to provide a complete design service from foundations upwards to loadbearing walls, columns, floors and beams. 

With Chartered Engineer qualifications, along with extensive experience of inspecting traditional and modern structures, this enables us to produce structural inspection surveys for mortgage-lending purposes.  We work with multiple solar panel providers to assess loading capabilities of existing roof structures where solar panels are to be installed. We appraise the condition of the existing structure and advise on what strengthening methods are required to the roof structure as needed.
