About Us Three decades of experience. Birch Building is an established Irish building and carpentry company with over 32 years of industry experience. Founded on traditional craftsmanship and built on modern standards, we specialise in renovations and extensions, which have been our primary focus for the past eight years.

Our founder began training as a carpenter in 1990 and, after completing Advanced City & Guilds qualifications in 1994, was awarded Best Apprentice Carpenter, receiving recognition from Mr. Shortly thereafter, the company was established and successfully operated until 2007, when it was formally incorporated as Birch Carpentry and Building Services Limited, trading as Birch Brothers. Today, the company continues to trade under Birch Carpentry and Building Services Limited, with the additional trading name Birch Building.

Over the years, we have completed numerous one-off house builds, ranging from small bespoke homes to large-scale private residences, along with extensive renovations and extensions. This breadth of work has given us in-depth knowledge of correct building procedures, materials, and current building regulations, ensuring every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. We take great pride in the quality of our workmanship, a commitment reflected in the long-standing relationships we have built with our clients.

We are a fully insured company and have extensive experience delivering government-funded housing adaptations and retrofit projects, fully compliant with all relevant regulations.
