Jenni Reid is founder and director of Burton Reid Associates, an award-winning ecological consultancy specialising in the provision of high quality ecological services She is a Chartered Environmentalist and a full member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management (CIEEM). Jenni is also an Approved Building with Nature Assessor and a panel member of Design South West.

She has published articles on green infrastructure in CIEEM In Practice (September 2019) and for the Society for the Environment “Greening the Industrial Strategy” which was delivered to Ministers. In 2019 Jenni was shortlisted for “Environmental Professional of the Year” Society for the Environment. Burton Reid Associates have been awarded “Highly Commended” Small Consultancy of the Year CIEEM Award in both 2019 and 2022 and Commended in 2024

Jenny has over 15 years' experience in ecological consultancy, with extensive expertise in both terrestrial and aquatic ecology. She has undertaken biodiversity lead roles on major national infrastructure projects and has a proven track record of successfully managing small, medium, and large-scale biodiversity projects. Jenny is also experienced in staff management, training, and mentoring, supporting the development of technical teams and ecologists.
