CCS Consulting was formed by the Directors and Shareholders. The Company was awarded its first city centre tower development project, providing its structural consultancy to the ensuing development of the Margolis Building based in central Manchester. CCS Consulting formed its in-house special projects department, serving to an events / entertainment market, a niche sector.

The Company was awarded membership to the NHS Consortium for Healthcare and won a five-year framework contract with Blackpool Fylde & Wyre NHS Trust. In addition, the Company secured a major flagship heritage project, providing its services to the Grade 1 listed Liver Building. CCS Consulting established its Masters Graduate Intership Scheme.

The company also established its Graduate Training Programme in accordance with the IStructE Training Scheme. In addition, the Company retained engineer commissions for several blue-chip clients. The Company relaunched its website and generated a turnover of £250k for the first time.

As the business experienced sustained growth, the Company’s team expanded to five permanent employees. In addition, the Company’s current Technical Lead joined the business. To accommodate for the Company’s growth, CCS Consulting relocated to its current premises and began operating with a workforce of 10 employees.
