Clive Glass was established in 1988 by Ted Tobeck and his apprentice (and nephew) Stephen Tobeck. In the early days, Ted worked out of his garage, building the business from the ground up with a lot of hard work, letterbox pamphlets, competitive pricing, and word-of-mouth referrals. His passion, persistence and dedication quickly grew Clive Glass into a trusted local name across Hawke’s Bay.

In 2008, Stephen and his wife Erica took over the family business. Since then, they have expanded Clive Glass to a team of six qualified glazing specialists and three experienced support staff. Together they continue the family legacy, serving both residential and commercial customers across Napier, Hastings, Havelock North and the wider Hawke’s Bay region.

Over the years, Steve and Erica have built strong relationships with local businesses, insurance companies, property managers, schools, councils and community groups. The company remains proudly family-owned, committed to providing the same personal service and quality workmanship that built its reputation more than three decades ago.
