Cork Energy Consultancy is an SEAI registered company based in Cork City. Since 2009 we have been providing expert, independent advice to homeowners, businesses and local authorities on energy efficiency, compliance and sustainable building design. We are SEAI registered and members of the Irish Green Building Council, meaning our assessments and compliance reports meet the highest standards and carry full regulatory weight.

Based in Cork but working across the country, we bring over 15 years of experience across domestic, commercial and public sector projects of all sizes. A BER cert is essentially an energy label for your home, rating it from A to G so you know exactly how efficient it is and what it's costing you to run. If you're building a new home or carrying out major renovation works, we make sure your project meets the energy efficiency standards required under Irish building regulations.

From your pre-works assessment right through to your final cert, we take care of the technical side of your One Stop Shop retrofit. If you're selling, leasing or constructing a commercial building, we carry out the energy assessment and produce the BER cert you're legally required to have. We guide developers, architects and building owners through the energy efficiency requirements for new commercial builds and major renovations, making sure everything is compliant before sign-off.

If you manage a public building like a library, leisure centre or council office, we produce the Display Energy Certificate you're legally required to show on your premises every year. Using specialist simulation software approved by SEAI, we build a detailed digital model of your building to accurately calculate energy performance, carbon emissions and compliance.
