Meet the Directors CRA (Edinburgh) Ltd was established in 2014 following the split of CRA Ltd, an established company since 1972. We are passionate about our work and take great pride in delivering successful projects.

Our focus is on providing practical, innovative and sustainable solutions that meet and exceed our client’s expectations. We have successfully provided Engineering Services to a large variation of clients and Architects and have substantial experience in the design and management of projects covering the domestic, commercial and industrial sectors. CRA (Edinburgh) Ltd is a member of the Structural Engineers Registration Ltd (SER) and can provide clients with SER design certification.

Our staff has experience in the design of all Structural elements including foundations, reinforced concrete, structural steelwork, masonry, timber and also other non-traditional materials. Our designs are all prepared in accordance with the relevant codes of practice such as British Standards, European Standards and the Building (Scotland) Regulations. Mark has an honours degree from Heriot Watt University in Civil Engineering and is a Chartered Structural Engineer with the Institution of Structural Engineers and approved certifier of design through the Structural Engineers Registration scheme (SER).

Passionate about collaborating with Architects, builders, and clients, Mark enjoys developing practical, cost-effective, and easy-to-build Structural solutions that meet the unique needs of each individual project. David has an honours degree from Napier University in Civil & Transportation Engineering and is a Chartered Structural Engineer and approved certifier of design through the Structural Engineers Registration scheme (SER).
