Expert knowledge, gained through trading in wooden panel products, timber components and doors for practically 50 years, is the foundation of our business. We maintain a strong ethical tradition, meaning that we will always attempt to do what is right and not what is expedient at the time. Our policy – applied for more than 20 years, is to deal with a carefully selected range of manufacturers with proper financial backgrounds and managements who are prepared to work to our quality standards.

Personal relationships and trust ensure that the quality standards are maintained and that, if by chance any defect is found, the problem will be rectified without quibble and procedures examined to see if any improvement would eliminate or reduce the risk of a repeat. Our main storage site at Corsham, Wiltshire, is located conveniently close to the M4 motorway, enabling economic access to all areas of the country. We consider that a proper delivery service operates to customers’ requirements and not to a fixed schedule of convenience principally to us.

To achieve this service level we own a fleet of 7.5 tonne trucks and vans, but also make extensive use of selected carriers to deliver throughout the UK. With these facilities a delivery lead time rarely exceeds 48 hours and can frequently be managed in 24 hours if necessary. We offer a 10 year guarantee from the date of delivery on most timber doors.

Some doors have been excluded from the guarantee; exclusions include some Premdor products and our L&B and FL&B doors. Doorworld (International) Limited undertakes to repair or replace, at the option of the Company, products which are shown to be defective in materials or manufacturing workmanship within the warranty period. This guarantee is intended for the original purchaser only and does not extend to subsequent purchasers during the length of this guarantee.
