ECO-UNESCO is Ireland’s Environmental Education and Youth Organisation that works to conserve the environment and empower young people. Our Mission, Vision, Approach and Objectives To support the personal development of young people and raise environmental awareness through practical environmental projects.

To raise environmental awareness, understanding and knowledge among young people ECO-UNESCO is Ireland’s environmental education & youth organisation affiliated to the World Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Centres & Associations (WFUCA). UNESCO works to create the conditions for dialogue among civilizations, cultures and peoples, based upon respect for commonly shared values.

ECO-UNESCO is governed by a voluntary Board of Directors called the National Council. Funding for ECO-UNESCO’s diverse range of programmes and services come from a variety of sources,
