Starting his career at an early age as an electrical draughtsman in a local consultancy, he is now a highly experienced electrical engineer. In 2000 he joined ISD as a senior electrical engineer and became a director of the company in 2001. A passionate engineer, he has established strong working relationships across the industry, in particular within the education sector where he has led ISD’s team on numerous projects.

In 2004, Adrian was elected Secretary for the Association of Consulting Engineers NI holding the office until 2006, when he was elected treasurer until 2009. In 2025, Adrian took over as Managing Director of ISD. Outside of the office, Adrian is a keen sportsman.

As father to 6 boys he spends much of his free time watching them play a variety of local sports and playing music. He also coaches the minor football team for his local gaelic club. Cathal graduated from Ulster University, commencing his career in a number of local consultancy practices.

He specialises in the area of electrical engineering. Cathal maintains a hands-on approach to project delivery. He leads ISD’s team on a number of local Healthcare Frameworks, providing the highest levels of client care throughout projects forming long lasting relationships.
