Studied Architectural Technology in University of Ulster, Belfast until 2003. E mployed by Coogan & Co Architects and Landscaping outfit Creating Quality Places Ltd in Belfast, worked on a range of projects across the UK and Ireland.  Studied Architecture in Queens University of Belfast between 2003 and 2010, obtaining RIBA Part 1with First Class Honours, RIBA Part 2 with  Distinction.

Subsequently sat and satisfied RIBA Part 3 Professional Examination  A Registered Architect practicing on the Wild Alantic Way, with a passion for the local vernacular.
