Jemcrete Ltd Trading as Jem Centres is an independent Builders merchant based in Liverpool. We began in the early seventies as JEM JOINERY a company fitting shop fronts, doors and windows Our premises in West Derby was our workshop.

Due to demand in the area we opened up a small counter premises at the site called THE OFFCUT selling basic Diy products, timber, Glass etc to the public. The retail side of the business grew into what was then renamed as JEM BUILDING & DIY CENTRES. JEMCRETE LTD was a side of the company that bought a Fencing and concreting manufacturing company.

Due to the demand of the increased business in the merchant- retail side we decided to concentrate all our efforts into this part of the business so became JEMCRETE LTD and trade our branches as JEM BUILDING CENTRES or JEM CENTRES but are known also locally as just JEMS. We pride ourselves that many of our team have been with us since the start of the retail company and offer many years of experience. We have been joined with new staff that also bring with them experience from their previous employment.

We have a loyal customer base that also have been with us for many years due mainly to the products we offer and the service they receive.
