We can also discuss with you ‘The Better Energy Homes Scheme’ and advise you on how to apply for insulation and/or energy upgrade grants, provided by the SEAI. External Insulation consists of fixing EPS (expanded polystyrene) insulation to the exterior walls of a building. The insulation boards are then reinforced with basecoat and mesh and finally they are rendered with an extremely durable protective acrylic render finish in a colour of your choice.

Powder coated window cills are then fitted to complete the look of this relatively low maintenance façade. Kilsarn Insulation have completed cavity wall insulation and external wall insulation to our existing house and extension in Athlone. The works included a number of tricky junctions and the installation of new window sills throughout.
