Milligan Reside Larkin LTD is a long-established Chartered Architectural Practice, with over 100 years of industry experience.  The Practice has been delivering outstanding projects since 1900 and focus on unique design which offers exclusivity throughout the whole of Ireland and the U.K, in turn enhancing the users experience of the environment. The success of MRL’s diverse portfolio is deep rooted in the practices long established way of meticulously working. At the turn of the Century, SW Reside, Chief Area Engineer, established an Architectural and Engineering practice which rapidly became the principal consultancy in South Down.  He was later joined by his son, Major GW Reside BSc RIBA MICEI JP OBE who continued to practice full-time - providing Architectural, Civil and Structural Engineering and Survey and Mapping services. During Major Residue’s tenure as Practice Principal, he was appointed to the Board of DOE (NI) Historic Monuments and Buildings Council.

In 1987 RS Milligan acquired the practice, with GW Reside retained as Consultant.    Conveniently located almost centrally between Belfast and Dublin, the practice, now known as Milligan & Reside, provided design services on a regular basis throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. The practice has developed significantly and has built up an impressive client base within both public and private sector with many repeat commissions.
