Following a breakthrough combining its proprietary carbon capture material with a fully electric removal process enabling Nuada to offer 90% improved energy efficiency over existing solutions, the company has grown to a team of around 50, operating a purpose-built 18,000 sq. ft manufacturing and development facility and earned backing of investors including Barclays, BGF and Clean Growth Fund. Nuada is deploying its technology at commercial scale, having already validated its solution in multiple industrial settings including cement, biomass incineration, and energy from waste.

Our name is inspired by the ancient mythical king Nuada, whose name means "capture" and who was renowned for healing himself with his sword of air - a symbol of our unwavering determination to capture carbon and “heal” the air. Our values drive everything we do, from big decisions to day-to-day actions. We strive to deliver advanced systems that overcome the barriers which have long held back decarbonisation in key industries.
