I've taken a different path than most in my profession. While many pursue architecture directly, my journey was more unconventional. As a young person, I stepped away from education and spent several years gaining valuable life experience through various jobs.

These experiences shaped my worldview in ways formal education never could. When I eventually returned to my studies, I was intensely focused and fully committed to achieving my goals. This determination led me to pursue a career in architecture, which has been a dream come true.

Like the apprentices of old, I learned through hard work, observation, and mentorship, honing my craft alongside experienced professionals. Motivated to formalize my qualifications, I pursued registration with the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI) and proudly became a registered architect in 2023. Though my path was unconventional, it has given me a distinctive perspective on both professional practice and life, enhancing my approach to architecture.
