105 hectares pledged for rewilding! ABOUT Looking to rewild your land? can help – join a growing number of landowners across Ireland who are taking action in the face of the biodiversity crisis.

Our service, which is free to small landowners and community groups, will help you come up with a plan. You will be part of a network that is breaking barriers in land restoration in Ireland. currently includes 16 landowners in 12 counties who have pledged land for rewilding.

We hope this will grow to include people in every county and become Ireland’s largest rewilding network! is an initiative from Pádraic Fogarty, an ecologist who has worked as a professional consultant and as a campaigner within the environmental NGO sector. He is the author of the 2017 book Whittled Away – Ireland’s Vanishing Nature and is an occasional contributor to media outlets in Ireland and the UK.
