Shanti has worked in UK private practice for nearly twenty years and has extensive experience of environmental assessment, landscape planning, design and contract implementation. Since setting up her own practice in 2011 she has specialised in Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment of wind energy developments. Prior to this she worked for a number of well-respected landscape consultancies in Northern Ireland and England including Soltys Brewster Consulting where, for five years as Associate Director she was responsible for the management of their Belfast office and a portfolio of major healthcare, renewable energy and urban design projects in Northern Ireland, Ireland and Scotland.

She has also worked alongside ecologists, planners and historic landscape specialists during her time as a Senior Associate at Nicholas Pearson Associates, Belfast and as an assistant landscape architect and planner at Cass Associates multi-disciplinary practice in Liverpool.
