Help bring our rivers and wetlands back to life! Healthy waterways are vital for wildlife, people and our climate. But across Sheffield and Rotherham, pollution, habitat loss and lack of protection are putting them under increasing pressure.

Help us raise £55,000 to restore the waterways in our care and make them healthy, wild and full of life. Throughout Sheffield & Rotherham, from our streets & neighbourhoods to the wider countryside, there will be an abundance of nature that is protected, cared for and experienced by everyone. You don’t have to travel far to be inspired by the wonders of nature.

Sheffield and Rotherham are rich in beautiful and important wildlife and habitats. Take a look at some of the wildlife and wildlife-related projects in the area. Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust cares for 15 nature reserves across the local area, as well as our nature-friendly farm at Ughill.

We also deliver a range of engagement activities so that everyone can experience the joy of nature, from  Wild Play sessions for children, to  Wild at Heart’s inclusive community groups. There are plenty of ways to get involved with Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust.
