Sirus is an Irish headquartered HVAC, BMS & Energy Efficiency Solutions and Service provider in buildings. Sirus started out as two separate companies in separate cities. Almost 40 years ago, a Cork-based entrepreneur was operating an HVAC ( Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning ) company called Temperature while a Dublin counterpart had just started a new BMS ( Building Management Systems ) company called Compute Systems.

Due to changes in technology, the HVAC business required a temperature controlling system. At the time the market for building management systems, which control HVAC equipment and manage energy use, was beginning to take off. The two companies merged to form a new company, Sirus, with a combined staff of 10 and initially operated by providing general HVAC services and carrying out BMS projects for commercial operations.

Sirus has come a long way since 1988, and now employs over 130 staff specialising in delivering critical environments to the pharma , biotech and data centre sectors. Precision and excellence in delivery and loyalty and longevity in approach are the common characteristics both Sirus and SAUTER share. Sirus make up a significant part of the SAUTER business, being one of the largest companies in their portfolio.
