Through thoughtful design, we aim to create places that are functional, enduring, and enriching to both individuals and communities. Principal Architect Nick set up Sweeney Architects in 2006. Prior to that he had 15 years experience in architecture and project management.

Nick worked previously as lead architect for ORS/Marlin Architects, Project Architect for Ashlin Coleman Architects and Galdevar Project Management as well as for Belgravia Developments as a project manager. Nick's experience includes retail, brand development, large mixed-use schemes, hotel and leisure, planning, design, building fitout, pharmaceutical, industrial master planning, design and detailing, healthcare and residential developments. An architect by degree, Nick is also a qualified Project Manager, physical planner and a Grade III Conservation Architect.

Envelope URSULA HEGARTY Director Director Ursula is a founding director of Sweeney Architects and comes from a marketing background. She has worked in Belgium to take a small start-up company through to become the leading broadband wireless provider, not only in Europe but across eleven countries. Ursula is practice manager and ensures dedicated resources are available to bring projects in on time and on budget.
