Members of Construction Skills Certification Scheme UrbanPioneers was founded in 2010 by directors Liane Bauer and Marion Preez . Natives of Germany both have worked in lived in Europe and Overseas before finally settling in Scotland.

They have both worked in Landscape Architecture for over 16 years and greatly enjoy working in Scotland as well as internationally. UrbanPioneers designs are based on research of the local context and a thorough understanding of the wider surroundings. Successful place-making grows out of local context and a good understanding of the brief.
