Matt is a Fellow of The Institute of Civil Engineering (ICE) and Institute of Structural Engineering (IStructE) who has gained significant engineering experience in a broad range of project locally and across the UK.

Matt’s practical experience combined with a positive, problem-solving attitude and personal approach to his clients are key values that has enables the company to grow organically over the years. Under Matt’s leadership Vale Consultancy has established itself with an enviable reputation and has now developed a talented team of engineers. Jon is a highly experienced Structural Engineer with over 25 years’ experience in Engineering Consultancy.

He has designed numerous projects, both large and small up to the value of £10 million. Jon’s experience ranges from small housing developments, to large multi-storey mixed use projects including developing bespoke structural designs for private developers. He is associated with the BRE and other innovative specialized projects and also worked closely with the design development, coordination and detailing of many governments building contracts, including the HMPS and HMCS throughout Wales and the South East of the UK.
